Biography
Major Candyace Laster is a native of Phenix City Alabama and a 2006 graduate of Russell County High School. She enlisted into the Alabama National Guard in August 2008, while also a member of the Alabama A&M SROTC Program as an SMP Cadet (Simultaneous Membership Program).
She commissioned as an Adjutant General Corps Officer in May 2011 from Alabama A&M University where she earned her degree in Physical Education, Sports Management. Additionally, she earned her Master’s degree in Human Resource/Leadership Development from Louisiana State University in 2018.
MAJ Laster currently serves as the APMS or Associate Professor of Military Science for the Tulane University SROTC Program.
